Wonderful hotel and very accommodating to international travelers. Staff was very friendly, room was nice, lounge was comfortable, and the onsen was small but relaxing. Recommend staying here when in Hakuba.
The hotel interior was dark and outdated. Although most of the staff were pleasant, one staff member at the front desk was not helpful and unfriendly. Food at restaurant was below average. The restaurant was also very crowded and buffet style. With the COVID situation still not under control, I would have felt more relaxed if there was more space between tables and less customers in the restaurant at one time.
Location is good. Easy access to ski lifts and transport links if you want to explore further afield. Good sized rooms for Japan and plenty of storage space. Staff friendly and speak excellent English. Wide choice at breakfast - English, continental and Japanese. Only downside, bar closed at 10pm.
The perfect location for a ski trip. Walking distance to slopes. Shuttle buses to resorts pick up out front. Ski shop/hire and resturants adajcent. Nice room, outdoor onsen and breakfast.
We had a fantastic time at Mominoki. The hotel is just a few mins walk to the goldola and there is a free shuttle bus stop right outside on the street to take you to the other Hakuba ski resorts. The front desk team, particularly Natalia and Michelle were incredibly helpful. The hotel has a great free hotel minibus to take you to restaurants in the evening and also offers to collect you again after dinner. The front desk can help recommend and book restaurants on your behalf. So convenient!
The facilities in the hotel are lovely and there are a couple of different restaurants onsite. The buffet breakfast is a highlight.
The bathrooms are very small and not well ventilated. I also think the bath towels could be changed from microfibre to a normal fluffier cotton blend. Having said that, a small issue and I'd definitely stay again in the future.
Fantastic hotel within walking distance of Appo lift.
Room was clean and comfortable with the daily breakfast an added bonus. Pub and restaurant on site provided other options for dinner.
