Great experience @ John & George

John and George hotel was wonderful. The staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful. The cappuccinos made by Mari Tina were beyond description. We were only sorry we couldn’t stay longer. The pool was wonderful, the location was great. There was parking and an easy walk to the beach and shops and restaurants. We will definitely come again.

Lovely stay!

Wonderful stay. Lovely staff. Great buffet breakfast included. Very clean, comfortable, spacious room. Convenient on site free parking. Nice pool. Great views. Short walk to beach, though steep so not necessarily easy for elderly or disabled. Plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Also good food and drinks at hotel.

Everything and everyone from the start to the end was friendly courteous and made us feel welcome. The location is convenient although a bit trick to get in if you are not an experienced driver in narrow windy hilly Greece roads. The views from the property are beautiful! I would highly recommend.

After a slight hiccup with the reservation, the hotel went above and beyond our expectations and we ended up with a beautiful sea view room at their sister hotel the Dolphin and enjoyed a magnificent dinner on the beach. The hotel staff at John and George were fantastic and made sure that we were happy with the new arrangement! Can't say enough about the lady at the check in.

Beware! This hotel is NOT in Nafplio. It is falsely listed as being Nafplio. We had wanted to visit Nafplio and had only one night to do so, so we were VERY disappointed. This is 20 minutes from Nafplio. Lovely hotel and staff, but we were unable to visit Nafplio as we had wanted. Neither hotel nor Expedia would offer any full or partial refund. Poor form.

Belle alternative à Nauplie. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses mais attention, la piscine est à l'ombre la majorité du temps. Bon petit-déjeuner varié et personnel très agréable. Parking disponible mais un calvaire pour arriver jusqu'à l'hôtel en raison des rues de Tolo.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The hotel room was spacious, clean and lacked nothing. The breakfast buffet offering was excellent and the staff were very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Tolo area. A++

Schönes Hotel mit Blick über die Bucht von Tolo. Parkgarage war hilfreich, da alles herum ansonsten sehr steil. Frühstück okay, wobei die Corona Maßnahmen ein bisschen nerven.

The staff and owners are so incredibly friendly and helpful! The location was awesome, pharmacy right down the street to do a 15 minute covid test for return flight. Breakfast buffet was awesome and they have greek coffee available and will help you make it in the traditional style, so much fun! They also offer an evening buffet with traditional dishes, so yummy! Free covered parking available, hotel is conveniently located, easy to get to with google maps and easy access to many different sites to go visit. I am a single female traveler and felt totally safe walking around the town at night after dinner and shopping. Pool was cold but I visited at the beginning of October so understandable, really only complaint was that the mattress was very stiff but found out on checking out if you say something to them they have an overlay to put on top.(wish I had said something at the beginning lol!). I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone! Thank you so much for such a wonderful end to my vacation!

Presque parfait !

Mon meilleur hotel en Grèce à ce jour. Peut être dû à un gros manque d'objectivité lié à la jolie terrasse et a la très belle vue sur la mer et le soleil levant des chambres de l'hôtel mais tant pis, j'assume ! Parking couvert (mais non fermé) en sous sol, mais le gérant m'a laissé garer ma moto juste a côté de la réception pour plus de sécurité. Déjà cela annonçait la couleur en terme de service. Ensuite une chambre au dernier étage avec vue sur la mer m, orientée plein est donc, spacieuse, avec une belle terrasse également, une clim hyper efficace que je n'ai eu à allumer que le temps de rafraîchir, la nuit je la coupais. Pas de souci d'insonorisation constaté. Un petit frigo et un coffre, toujours pratique, et suffisamment d'espace de rangement. Et meme un pèse personne !!! Petit dej copieux avec jus de fruit frais mais cela pourrait etre mieux (je parle en me référant par rapport aux autres hotels de Grèce de mon voyage) : la clientèle (je suis venu en septembre) était assez âgée et très typée anglo-saxonne/germanique du coup le buffet est plutot continental. Hormis la feta, je regrette les petites spécialités grecques que je trouvais dans les autres hôtels, et surtout c'est quasiment tous les jours pareil. Mais encore une fois je pinaille (jus d'orange frais je le répète ! Et ils viennent vous resservir du café... en plus on peut manger dehors avec vue sur la mer. Piscine petite avec des horaires assez réduits malheureusement, mais bon la mer est à 3mn à pieds...
