"This was, by far, the BEST place we stayed in all of Iceland on our 30-day visit where we booked 7 different hotels. We basically had the most beautiful 2-bedroom house to ourselves and the cost was unbelievably cheap. "Really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean. Loved the fact that they had two pillows per bed....yeah!! Our host was very kind. We had a great breakfast delivered to us the next morning in a lovely bag. There was so much we ate half of it for lunch! It was great walking to Godafoss in the evening and next morning. "Wonderful cabin! This cabin is so cute and well designed. Also the staff are very kind and helpful. It’s in a campground as other reviewers have noted, but the cabin is in a very quiet spot, it felt private to us! We were unaware that the Myvatn area is known for its many flying midges and unfortunately the cabin didn’t have screens to keep them out! We would have loved to bring in some fresh air and sit outside on the cabin’s deck!"

Great hotel in Mývatn with friendly staff.
"Very warm welcome on reception and at the bar. Immediately felt very relaxed after a 270 mile trip from the south of Iceland which whilst stunning, is an epic journey. Bedroom very comfortable and good shower amenities although shower curtains a little bit strange in the shower enclosures. Coffee pod machine was very well stocked with supplies and nice big cups, but, to get them to fit I had to remove the drip tray. No big deal. Breakfast was excellent with some hot options too and a very friendly welcome. Stayed here 2 nights and very comfortable indeed. "
