"Fantastic, our room was lovely and spacious, we stayed a couple of nights and breakfast was delicious. We also had an evening meal in the 1630 bar which was perfect for dining with our dog. A lovely atmosphere and great food. The staff are all very welcoming, helpful and friendly and we’ll look forward to staying again. "

"The staff were very welcoming & friendly. The lady at reception saved me a trip to Aldi when I realised I had forgotten my toothbrush by given me a complimentary one. The only downside was the lift was out of order and my room was on the top floor. Luckily, I only had a small suitcase to carry up the 49 winding steps."

"The bathroom had a gas smell in the night and the toilet in room 215 was extremely difficult to flush . Tv needs a manual and couldn’t get standard channel on but room and view was wonderful. Staff short in breakfast area . Had to wait to get sat down . N still havnt got out toast . Food was lovely when we got it though . "
