"We were booked for a week but left after one night. This place is a dump and the neighborhood is a dump. The shower didn't work so they gave us a plastic bucket we were supposed to wash ourselves with. Also no hot water. The place is dirty and looks nothing like the pictures. Do not stay at this embarrassment of a hotel. "

"Outstanding historical hotel to stay in old Delhi. Attractive, comfortable room. Friendly staff and entertaining experience flying a kite on a rooftop and seeing the racing pigeons. Attentive and helpful staff used.a cart to bring our luggage through the narrow alley to the entrance. I highly recommend the stay for someone's first visit to Old Delhi."

Local traffic makes getting back to the hotel slow but that is Delhi and not a reflection on the hotel. The hotel had everything that we wanted and is in a good central position.
