"Room was spotless. Brought in new firewood every day and cleaned the fireplace. Staff was courteous. Joe's bar great. Restaurant staff at Joes's was very good. Front desk was very informative."
"The hotel is beautiful, charming, and cozy. What really stood out was the marvelous staff that was so accommodating and truly allowed us to get some rest amidst a very long trip.
Big shoutout to the security officer (Robert, I believe?) who helped us get settled even though we showed up at 4 a.m. and our last-minute reservation wasn’t coming up. He managed to solve the situation in the moment and get us to our room so we rest. In the morning, front desk staff was kind despite our somewhat chaotic arrival.
Finally, we nearly missed breakfast since we’d only had a chance for 4 hours of sleep. Still, the breakfast staff insisted we had to eat before getting back on the road. They had me load a plateful of each remaining food, so that my spouse could eat with me since our dog needed a walk and they couldn’t be there. The ladies even offered to make us fresh tortillas while they cleaned up. Truly lovely people. We’ll be back!"
"Staff was so friendly. Everybody that works here is kind and attentive. Truly a lost art in this day and age. Truly impressed. Everything else was also fantastic."
"Hotel St Francis was perfect , beautiful historic building . Rooms were very nice . Great location, walking distance to everything . The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas "
