"Super interesting place to stay. New bathrooms. Very clean. Nice staff. Decent breakfast. Rooms have very basic amenities - not surprising given the placeâs origin, but there isnât even any soap in the bathrooms - no way to wash your hands except to use the mystery bottle of body wash (?) in the shower. The place isnât expensive, so basic is fine, but maybe a few more amenities (like some soap, tissue, an extra towel or two) would be nice?"

"Lovely 16C old house in the centre of Saintes bags of character and very friendly, informative hosts.
A little rickety due to its age but this just adds to the charm.
Bottom line is that we would be happy to visit again."

Reception staff were friendly and we checked in quite late.
Room was budget as we knew but comfortable and clean and everything worked.
Would stop there again as somewhere to out your head down fir the night . "
"The hosts were very flexible and helpful. We had a family room with two double beds (separate mattresses with automatic adjustments) and a sofa bed. There was a wall mounted TV and a fridge (hidden away in a closet). The bathroom was excellent, with a large walk-in shower with rain and flexible options.
On-site, there is an excellent indoor leisure facility comprising 10m x 5m pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, showers and ex.

"Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Ideal for overnight stay, staff very polite and helpful. New building 2023 modern decor excellent bathroom with large shower head. Window in bedroom was large but no way to keep it open just a little for fresh air. Would stay again and recommend it to others."
