"Very basic hotel. Front desk staff was helpful. They arranged a taxi to the airport for me. They advertised 24 hour food services which wasn't the case. The hotel is directly behind the train station. The walkway to the hotel entrance smelled of dog feces. "

"The bathroom is not functional as there were no shelves for toiletries. Not enough bathroom hooks for bath towels. They had to be hung on the coatrack hooks. The coffee machine did not work properly. After several tries with hot water only the coffee came out. Wasted several coffee pods. The wi-fi did not work properly. Had to use own cell phone data for internet connection."

"After-hours check-in was not possible. The hotelier gave us an access code by email to enter the building after reception had closed (we arrived in the middle of the night as our flight was delayed) but the keypad outside the front door did not work, even after multiple attempts. The phone number provided on the door also went straight to a message bank. Expedia assisted with calling the hotelier on my behalf but the hotelier only spoke French and merely reiterated the access code. Had we not encountered another hotel guest who let us into the building we would have been stranded outside all night. Not all reception staff spoke English. The room as advertised promised a washing machine but there was none in our room. The descriptions in that aspect were therefore misleading and deceptive. Further, the room faced a narrow alleyway to the Old Port and provided almost no view. The words 'partial view' in the room description were only technically correct but future guests should be warned that the view was extremely limited and almost non-existent."
