Laguna Hills Lodge

"We enjoyed our stay at Laguna Hills Lodge. The property has manicured green lawns, beautiful vine flowers, clean room with oversize mirror, spacious parking space, decent breakfast, courteous staff, and walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops. However, there are few things that we noticed that needs improvement: please replace worn out white sheets & pillow cases, repair wobble beds, paint over or replace chipped nightstand, and provide 2 courtesy bottle water. We don’t mind staying here again on our next trip. "

"Really cute property and nice staff. Love the wine hour and boutique feel. The rooms could be a little more comfortable. For example, the bathroom light switch stopped working in the middle of the night. Also, honor snacks are a thing of the past and a little offensive given the cost per night. Just put some bottled water and a few free snacks in the room. I would stay again though. Overall, we had a good experience,"

"If you’re like me and you prefer boutique hotels over big brands, this place delivers. Plenty of character adds to the appeal. Small room but the patio really extends your living space and was private. I was disappointed to learn that the restaurant/bar were not yet open under the new ownership. I probably would have booked it anyway for the charm and the location. Just up the beach from Dana Point and convenient to local coffee shops and stores within a mile."
