"Loved my stay "

"We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks whilst visiting a relative at the Royal Columbian Hospital. The hotel was perfect in terms of location being only 2 stops from the hospital on the sky train. The location of the hotel near a decent shopping mall and more restaurants and eateries than you would ever need was great. The hotel itself was lovely, we had a large room with views of the local area. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room had a microwave, fridge, coffee machine and kettle. The staff on the front desk and in the restaurant were outstanding. Friendly, smiley and approachable. We chose to have breakfast at the hotel for convenience and if you book the buffet breakfast when you check in the hotel offer guests a discounted rate. Being at the hotel for 2 weeks we did get a bit bored with the buffet breakfast options but thats not the fault of the hotel as the food was well presented with hot and cold options. If you do not wish to have breakfast included they do offer an alternative menu with different food options. We would highly recommend this hotel and should we need somewhere to stay in the future in the local area we certainly would stay here again. "

"Returning trip back to The Met Hotel. Great staff and location located next to a Skytrain station. Old school charm with a pub downstairs. Room was clean and warm for a rainy winter stay in February. Will book again in the future."
