"This is a fantastic hotel in an amazing location. Rooms are great and very clean. Staff are really pleasant and helpful. My only criticism is the fact that Expedia shows them as having parking. They do not. They have an agreement with a public carpark that's a 800 m drive and 600 m walk from the hotel. This should be made clearer. The hotel state the parking is subject to availability and cannot be reserved, however I booked in advance (Telpark) and got a better deal than the hotel one."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When visiting Cartagena, we completely fell in love with the city and decided to extend our stay for three nights in the beautiful Old Town near the waterfront. Choosing the AC Hotel Cartagena by Marriott Bonvoy was one of the very best decisions of our trip. From the moment we entered the lobby, it was clear that this hotel was thoughtfully designed for both comfort and tranquility. The interiors are elegant and understated, with beautiful neutral tones, richly textured wallpaper, contemporary furnishings, and soothing décor that immediately creates a sense of calm. Our room featured luxurious down pillows, a high-quality orthopedic mattress, premium linens, and one of the most restful nights of sleep we’ve had while traveling. The spacious bathroom was beautifully appointed, adding to the feeling of understated luxury. Perhaps most impressive was how remarkably quiet the hotel is. Despite being located in the heart of Cartagena’s historic Old Town—within easy walking distance of cafés, restaurants, the marina, museums, plazas, and countless attractions—our room was peaceful and serene, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the outstanding service we received from Ramón. From the moment we arrived, he anticipated every need with genuine warmth and professionalism. When we asked about upgrading our room, he found us a wonderful room on the top floor with a beautiful view of the sea."

"Quiet location but only 15 minutes walk into the Old Town and shopping. Great pool although we didn’t use it. Clean room and a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with outside seating option. The onsite underground parking a bonus and cheaper than inner city car parks. If you are driving in have a look at street view on Google Earth. The entrance is between bollards and easy to miss."
