Our booking was for 1 night only, a convenient location before catching our flight the next day. The hotel is clean and well maintained in a very central location, close to the train station and local transportation. Allows for easy movement around Munich on both U and S-Bahn, and long distance trains to other cities. The front desk is unmanned, but directions from management to access the property (we had a late arrival) were clear and precise. The property is close to shopping and restaurants, and within easy walking distance to the central historical district. We were pleasantly surprised and it was perfect for our short stay.

AC was good to have during heatwave. Close to train station and subways. Close to city center. Quiet and a good place to sleep. You need to have a code to enter building and your room. The hotel was better than expected.

Super location!! Literally feet from the train station entrance. Also close and walkable to Old Town shops, restaurants and Marienplatz. Room was clean and thankfully, being a hot June visit, air conditioning. It has a feel of a private hostel (own room and bathroom). Also has elevator, good for lugging bags upstairs. If you just want a clean room to crash in, this is perfect!!

Well maintened, well equipped place. Rooms are small but functional and spotless clean. I wish I knew lockers to store luggage aren't free but 7 euro per locker per 3 hours in 3 hour in rements. It gets quite expensive to store luggage there

The hotel has improved from the last time I was there. The location is convenient for public transport. It is good for either overnight or 2 day stays. The bathroom taps are too low for the basin and should be lifted higher.

The location was great, close to Central Station as we were travelling by train. Unfortunate that there was construction happening next door and this made that hotel a bit awkward to get to and a bit on rain on one of the days mad it quite muddy. The staff were very helpful

There is nothing NOT to like about the Helvetia; it is my 4 th time staying here and my go-to choice whether I travel solo or not. Safe feeling, excellent location and a delicious smorgasbord is available on site; personelle are friendly & helpful. One gets a sound and quiet sleep at the Helvetia.
