The best thing about our stay was the breakfast buffet, great quality and variety of food choices, great coffee and other drinks options, it was an extra that I'd definitely recommend paying for. The room size was fine considering what we paid, the only thing I would say they can improve is cleanliness, the toilet had a brown stain (typical of old and not well cleaned toilets), tables didn't seem to be wiped after another guest had eaten so crumbles and other stuff were on them, but once again.. Considering it was very budget friendly I can accept and say it was a good deal
Convenient to several bakeries, restaurants, a couple grocery stores, and an awesome take away restaurant with a wide selection of fast foods, and beverages you can take back to hotel...just 75-100 meters away.
Very comfortable place with good breakfast, free drinks from the fridge in the room, unusual and with dose of good sense of humour marking at the toilet door and around 😁
Accessible with public transportation. Either S Bahn or bus.
Single Room has still a good sized bed!
Staff very friendly. Overall good deal for reasonable pricing.
The nearby neighborhood was beautiful. The service was amazing; there was breakfast every morning and bread left out during the evening.
I will rate it 4-stars overall due to the hours the front desk is open. As a tourist, it's hard to check-in at 3pm (local time) while carrying all of your bags and no staff to answer phones. A member from the custodial team was able to help me with my luggage. So I am thankful for that.
If you are looking for a good price hotel this is your hotel. Is about 10 minutes walking from the train station, it quiet and clean. They didn’t make my room but I guess that is part of the policy. The fridge had some beverages like beer, water and juice complementary of the hotel. The best thing was the morning breakfast it was amazing I recommend you buy it, it is worth it. The room itself had a queen size bedroom and bathroom
Little small but I know is a European standard. The staff was friendly but when I checked in at 3pm it took about 10 minutes to get the key seems lots of people came down to the Oktoberfest and it was busy. Overall I would consider stay here again.
The Dormero Hotel is located in a quiet and clean suburban area, conveniently close to a local bakery, grocery stores, and takeaways, with public transport to Munich city center taking about 30-40 minutes. We spent three nights there at the end of September.
Check-in was easy, but communication at the reception faced some English language barriers. Our room was spacious, well-heated, and nicely decorated. However, it lacked a kettle for coffee or tea, though it did have a mini fridge, hairdryer, and a spacious wardrobe.
Unfortunately, we had negative experiences with room cleaning. Despite requesting daily towel replacements and cleaning, our room was never serviced during our stay. We often had to ask for towels and toilet paper at the reception, where staff struggled with English and were frequently unavailable.
Check-out was simple; we just dropped the key in a box. Overall, the hotel has a good location, but the housekeeping issues were disappointing.
For the cost of the room, I think it was a pretty budget hotel. The room was tiny, but functional. However, there was chipped paint on the floor, some bugs on the bathroom floor, and the room was in general disrepair. The breakfast - that I thought was included - looked good, though I didn’t partake. I did appreciate the free beer in the mini bar and the complimentary pretzel upon arrival. Overall, it was just so-so for me.
