"Staff were very helpful. Plenty of parking space. Bed really comfortable. And the food in the restaurant was lovely. "

"The pictures online are nothing like the hotel when you get there the hotel needs a makeover. It says that it has two restaurants but in fact, the breakfast is only open till 10:30 in the morning and the brasserie was only open 2 times and I stayed a full week. It atates that it has a gym which it does not and hasn’t been working for years. The rooms are very dingy stuff caked and stuck on the walls. The carpet, the wood flooring, the tile all is just very old and not well kept. One of the lightbulbs in my room was out which seems like the maid Service should catch. When people asked where I was staying the Uber drivers and or Restaurant folks they all were like oh how is the Hotel because I hear it is not very good and is very run down. I was lucky. I did have a small refrigerator in my room, which worked well for the week. The air-conditioning wouldn’t go lower than 26 Celsius, I was hot every night. I did choose the hotel partially because of the location but partially because the pictures did look like it was going to be a decent looking hotel. I typically stay at The Grand, but it wasn’t available for two of my nights. If I went back, I would not stay in that hotel again. "

"Stayed here many times and always a lovely time and lovely breakfast but on this occasion 28/03/26 breakfast wasn't nice and bacon was so hard you could knock someone out with it when my mum ask for fresh bacon the waitress said well the bacon was fresh this morning and its all gone my mum went back and asked 10 mins later and asked if the bacon was ready the waitress said its cooking with an attitude this waitress need retraining in customer service as there is a certain way to speak and thats not it"

"We stayed in room 12 and yes the room was amazing and clean and comfortable. The only thing is don’t think you will be getting any sleep as there was a constant noise in the room and the only way to describe it is when you hear a helicopter outside. Told the staff member and he said it’s the generator between the walls and it would turn off in 30/40mins. Long story short it didn’t turn off and after getting to the point of exhaustion we finally fell asleep. Spoke to the staff member in the morning and he didn’t really care. Sent an email to the manager and was given a reply that next door neighbours extractor fan was left on. I’m not stupid and could tell it’s more than that and also it means someone there is lying which isn’t the best service. Stayed here before and it was amazing so I suggest if they offer you room 12 refuse. "
