"Wonderful time in this cabin. It had amazing views and was quiet. The wifi was perfect for working and it was such a relaxing place to rest for a few days. It's about a 30 minute walk to town, but there are a few restaurants and shops along the way. The people are really friendly too. "

Very minimalistic but it’s all you need and waking up to an unobstructed sunrise view of the volcano on Lake Atitlan. "Only there for a night. The host/manager could have done a better job explaining how to get there, instead of simply suggesting to use Waze maps! Also, they are building a new house at the bottom of the property, so it's a little dangerous having to walk thru a construction site to get to the beach down below. "The hotel room was fine. Not at all like was shown in the pictures. Mold in the corners of the room. The bathroom window, which opened out on to a corridor wouldn't lock either. "The hotel and service was great. Everyone was very helpful. AC was loud but still good. However the pool lounge chairs need to be replaced. They all were kinda broken down and sagging down in the middle. It’s a nice pool area and would be a lot nicer with decent lounge chairs. "

"My husband and I loved our stay at Jenna's River B&B! The property and the views were so beautiful, I could not stop taking pictures. We loved relaxing on our private patio as well as in the open air bar and open air restaurant. Service was friendly and accommodating. Others have made comments about the stairs. Yes, there are a lot of stairs because the entire property is on a steep hill. I was also concerned about the comfort of the bed and bugs in the room, as that had also been mentioned in a review. My husband and I slept comfortably and housekeeping cleaned the room and changed the bedding every day. We saw one or two small bugs in the bathroom, but I see bugs like that in my own home from time to time, so I didn't see that as a big deal at all. This hotel also provided us with a pitcher of filtered water in our room every day. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Guatemala!"

"Loud barking dogs all night right next to room number 1, which is also right by the front desk which isn’t great if loud people are checking out early. The hotel graciously moved me to a quieter room for my second night. Much better when not in room #1. "

Beautiful!

"This hotel is very beautiful and comfortable. The location is great, close to many restaurants, shops, and to the water taxis. We had some of the best food on our trip at the restaurant. If you are vegan, the restaurant has plenty of options. The staff are also wonderful, they helped us decide where to visit and helped us book a taxi back to the airport. I would definitely recommend staying here!"
