"Great hotel in a great location in Basel, near the Messe and lots of cute neighborhoods and restaurants. Right on several tram lines and a short walk to the river. More business than boutique hotel, but friendly, clean, and modern with spacious rooms. I had a room with a balcony on the back of the building, very quiet and looks out over an internal courtyard and other buildings."
"AC didn’t work on our room which was the main reason we left another hotel. The man at the front desk was a bit aloof and I had to ask 3 times for help, and he finally got us another room. No help was provided for our move and we’re older patrons. We had to move ourselves including 2 sets of stairs being the only access to the new room.
Close to restaurants and transportation and in a safe area.
Beds comfortable. Carpet on halls a bit worn. Nice lobby for an inner city hotel."
"Room was clean. No drinks facilities in the room though. Had secure parking. Please for a 1 night stay, but not if staying longer. Staff were friendly enough and the breakfast was nice, with a range of cold meats, cheeses and cereal, as well as hot drinks and orange and apple juice. Although there was no orange juice on the day."
"We arrived early, hoping to drop out cases until check-in time whilst we began exploring the city. In the event we were offered an upgrade to a larger room that was ready for occupation, which of course we accepted.
The room was large and comfortable, with a comfortable seating area and very comfortable beds. The room was a little too hot on the first night, but we turned the thermostatic valves on all of the radiators down to "frost protect" and it was much more comfortable on our second night.
We had booked breakfast inclusive and we pleased with the range of items offered.
A real bonus was the availability of complimentary hot drinks throughout the day (until 9pm).
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
A really pleasurable stay in a good location to explore the city."
