"It is an older Buddhist temple and feels wonderful to be in a place with such character and history. The meals (all are vegetarian in accordance with Buddhist tradition) are a delicious delight. This is from one who is not a vegetarian! The service is personal and sincerely caring. I would recommend visiting Daisen and staying there. "

The real bonus is the fact that both a buffet breakfast and a light dinner are provided free as part of the hotel bill. "Owner is very nice, they provide free Onsen which is hot enough and they also allow me to go shower and onsen after I check out to hiking on Daisen. The location is very close to bus stop, very convenient."

"Pay Full Attention: There is no bathing facilities in your hotel room. PUBLIC BATHING ROOM in the hot spring in the hotel. However, the outside hot spring is quite dirty and inserts body in the water. You find the hot spring water is dirty even you are there in the morning time!"
