"If you are going to Hakone, you should stay, and stay at the Fujiya Hotel for at least two nights. This place is magical, and the staff are unbelievably attentive and kind. The onsen is the definition of relaxing and has amazing views. The massage and facial were amazing. The western breakfast was so good, and the dinner at the restaurants in the hotel is worth the price for the experience. Don’t miss your opportunity to stay here if you pass through Hakone!"

The kaiseki and traditional breakfast meal were exceptional, with beautifully plated dishes. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The onsen was a wonderful place to unwind, with three options available - be sure to book in advance to secure a private timeslot. The nearby antique museum is also worth exploring if you have some free time.
