"This is a little slice of heaven. I had a last minute booking. The owner was kind to reach out to me to make sure my arrival would not be during a time that might conflict with a scheduled appointment. She gave great recommendations and provided a tasty breakfast. I wish I’d had more than one night because it was lovely."

"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July. We were shown to our bedroom at the end of a corridor. After the door there are 2 steps up to the accommodation level but no further door beyond these steps. During the night my wife woke up to go to the bathroom. As there was no lighting, and she was in an unfamiliar environment, she mistook the space above the steps to be the entrance to the bathroom. "I emailed the hotel to let them know I would arrive very late in the night and they never acknowledged receipt, so it’s no surprise I had issues accessing the property. The “welcome email” I received before arrival listed a code for a customer portal that linked to a broken URL, but was actually for the property’s outer gate. Why not just call it a gate code instead of a portal access code? They also didn’t tell me where the button was to open the gate when exiting the property, so another...
