"Parking outside each room...woolworths 3 mins walk across the road...main street with shops, cafes, restaurant etc 7 min walk (2 blocks away)...also close to train station... very convenient"

"Room wasn't ready until 3.16 pm. Room was everything but quite. Leaking toilet seat, super loud heater,which we have to turn off even in a 4 degree night due to its being ao loud that we couldn't sleep. Thankfully it was just a night. But i would not recommend to any family. No wonder when i tried to book in 2 weeks before my holiday every good one was booked out except this one. "

"This motel was so clean and well presented. Basic amenities but good. Loved that I could make a cup of coffee or some toast in the morning. And our son loved being able to hook up his PlayStation to the TV. The host was very polite, could not fault it. Would stay again and highly recommend if you're looking for a clean, and central place to stay."

"Ararat Hotel is a beautiful old building with 30 foot something ceilings. It's architecture and old world charm is immensely impressive. It operates like a hostel or an old boarding house. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of communal bathrooms and kitchens, but the bedroom was clean and warm on one of the coldest nights in Ararat this year. Thank you"

"Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation undercover parking and very helpful staff"

"There were no staff at the desk on arrival or departure. We never saw any staff. On arrival our arrival form containing personal info was left on the reception counter with our villa key. This info was visible to anyone passing the check in counter & we could sight the other bookings & details also.There was no key safe etc like we've experienced at other properties. The kitchen exhaust fan cover & the air conditioning vents were in desparate need of a clean. The tap in the hand basin had to be turned off to extreme because the washer needed replacing. The toilet cistern contually leaked into the bowl which was audible from the bedroom. The room wifi is very weak & dropping out."
