Basecamp lodge is a beautiful property slightly away from the main Mount Shasta town. The property is clean and you get "the freshest water in the USA" in the tap. The beds are big (we had a king bed) and very comfortable. You have beautiful Mount Shasta views from the property and it's close to all the hikes, waterfalls and lakes you want to visit.

Overall great stay! Only complaint is the window coverings, they give you privacy but do not block the sunlight at all. If you want to sleep past 8 am you should bring a sleep mask otherwise the room will be filled with light. A small investment in black out drapes would make a world of difference.
