"This is our go to hotel every time we visit Freeport . It’s clean, close to restaurants and shops, staff is always friendly. And the beds are comfortable not hard like other hotel beds . Our stay is always great ."

"This hotel is older and could use some updating but the room is very clean and a good deal! We love that they have windows that open (hotels don’t have that these days) we slept so good with the fresh air!! A breakfast buffet was included so that was a nice surprise and the food was good!"

"The staff was amazing. We had booked another hotel close by and as we got to the room there it was terribly dirty and smelled so bad we asked to cancel and went to this hotel. The staff bent over backwards to be sure that we had a a room right away. I am mobility impaired so they got us a room that was very convenient. They even put a dehumidifier in the room to be sure that everything was perfect. The breakfast in the morning was very delicious and the morning staff was very helpful and pleasant also. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Things were all older and dated, but everything was clean. Bedsheets were so old they were nubby. Bathroom was fine with very soft water. Included breakfast was marginal, with pop tarts and weak coffee. It was interesting having a busy bar in the midst of the building, adding character. It is also a gathering place for both Harley bikers and golfers for the adjacent course; quite a contrast. It's the only place around, so if we go to another concert in Mt.Carroll, we'll probably stay again."
