"Well priced & well placed, modern-style hotel, 2-3 kms south of the city centre but directly on the Tram line to the Airport/Parc des Exposition & everywhere else in Bordeaux, and ½ km from the main St Jean station. The bi-lingual staff are exemplary - welcoming, knowledgeable & very efficient and they (+ the management) are what makes this hotel Excellent. The rooms are well sound proofed internally, with Air Con (mandatory in Bordeaux), but very small - a modern cabin style layout that’s fine for one but a squeeze for 2 -with a large comfortable bed. While being 50 metres from the Tram stop has its advantages - particularly if you’re arriving or returning late- it runs virtually all night and it’s noisy (even with double glazing). So ask for a room facing the rear (not the street). That way you’ll get a peaceful, restful night’s sleep. Cafe/bar/breakfast + other useful business/leisure facilities on site. Highly recommended."
