"Beautiful location. The Trullos are unique. Sleeping under a dome is very relaxing. The bedrooms could do with more shelving. Had to leave clothes in luggages on the floor. In the off season, each individual Trullo pool is unheated. I was still able to swim my laps in 20 degrees water. Quite invigorating! Others might not venture at this temperature. "The room was lovely and really well kept. Daily cleaning was excellent. The pools were lovely, the lifeguards were very whistle happy thought! The thing I really need to flag is the lower/upper inclusive plans. We were lower (although don't recall deciding this when booking) which meant we didn't get a reserved table for dinner. We were just sat outside in unreserved tables, which was ok when there was an available table for us... Sometimes there would be and if we were lucky it would be cleaned and if we were lucky broken glass would be cleaned up. When it came to meals, lower inclusive were basically not cared about."

It is worth mentioning that we provided gratuity to our staff throughout our stay. Borga added a gratuity to our bill, which we were able to decline, but it was still included."

"I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could! From the moment I booked my stay—long before I even arrived—the team was incredibly attentive. Their communication was outstanding, and they made me feel truly welcomed every step of the way. The location is simply perfect, right in the heart of beautiful Monopoli. If you’re arriving by car, they clearly explain where to stop, then pick you up in a golf cart and escort you to the hotel. Upon arrival, they personally show you around the town and take you to your room, making the entire experience effortless. I was lucky enough to stay in a stunning three-level suite overlooking the sea. It had a terrace, a balcony, a fully equipped kitchen, and every little detail was carefully thought out. Housekeeping was exceptional—they beautifully prepared the room every day, and everything was always spotless. During my stay, I celebrated my birthday. A friend wanted to send me a surprise gift, and after contacting the front desk, the staff handled everything with such kindness and professionalism. They were responsive, thoughtful, and made the whole experience seamless. I also treated myself to a massage, which was incredibly relaxing and professionally done. The breakfast was absolutely spectacular, with high-quality products and beautiful presentation. Every detail reflected the hotel’s commitment to excellence. "It is wonderful property stay, right into the core of Matera's "Sassi", the classical and traditional drwelling quarter. It is super conveniently located in the heart of attractions. The room even has a two underground water containing structures, one in the living area and one in the bathroom. The design of the room perfectly incorporated the tradition in the area while providing all the modern convenience with style. Highly recommend."
