"The hotel was a short drive to Moshi, while being far enough away from hustle and bustle. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating- even going so far as to check I was well when I slept in after a long hike at Kilimanjaro. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area."

"When or if I go back to moshi, this will be the place I will stay. Secured front entrance, clean, good breakfast, fast wifi, hot water, in a central location in town, and air conditioning with an easy laundry service for a very reasonable price. Those who run the place are also very pleasant and helped me secure a ride back to the airport for a good price so I didn’t have to haggle anyone outside, which is exhausting. "I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. I would highly recommend to stay at the Stella Maris Lodge."
