Recommend in a pinch!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet, which was a very important concern of ours. Amazing grocery store around the corner and the best taco joint down the street.

Nice place but??????

It's a nice motel for a weekend get away, but when we arrived the toilet bowl has poop on it. The manager immediately cleaned the bathroom and apologized. The management should make sure to inspect the room before the next guest checks in.

Convenient but not the cleanest

The motel looked great from the outside but inside there was too much furniture and it was dusty. The carpet runner needed to be vacuumed and the floor needed to be mopped. The "breakfast" did not have many options.

The property looks freshly remodeled. Cups for coffee were missing. The staff did not pick up the phone, I could not call to arrange the late arrival and had to drive back and forth from Cambria to register earlier. Lost an hour of my time.

This is a really nice place for a budget hotel. No carpet so you don't get that overwhelming " air freshener scent" that I have to air out immediately in carpeted hotels. Older hotel with updated rooms. Rooms are nice and clean, liked the bathroom shower. 4 packs of coffee instead of the typical one pack. Beds are comfortable, a little on the firm side but I like really soft beds and I slept well on it. Bedside wall lamps have plug outlets so you can charge your phone, ect by your bedside table. Easy parking directly in front of your room as there is no second story. Just a clean comfortable room for a good price with nice staff.

The pet area was over grown. It was a small patch of grass that was dirty and Unkept. I was charged one going rate and the hotel rate for that night was cheaper. the next day I was going to stay was, but was Now $100 more Very disappointing and unsatisfactory by both parties.

I stayed here Labour Day weekend - a heatwave! I turned up to find out that the pool was closed, I booked this motel based on the fact it had a pool! As you walk in to the office there is a white board full of rules that are not shown on Expedia which I found very off putting! Breakfast was limited and poor. Shower was ok with limited pressure and the location is on highway 1 which is fine but do yourself a favour and go and stay in Morro Bay (I can recommend Beach bungalow). The only positive I have is if you want a comfortable bed it certainly gives you that so don’t pay over the odds by being fooled in to its facilities!

Rules are ridiculous!!

The white board located in the office is ridiculous!! If you call the office for any reason after 9pm there’s a $30 fee, check in early there’s a $30 fee, check out late $30 fee. You must eat in the lobby no taking food back to your room. The office is closed from 11pm to 3pm. We went to the office at 11:03 am and it was closed. We left a $100 cash deposit to get it back the maintenance guy had to inspect our room before it was returned. I wish I had taken a picture of the board. I don’t think this is Rodeway Inns policy. I’ve never dealt with being treated like a child with any hotel chain I’ve stated at and don’t think I’ll ever stay at a Rodeway Inn again

They didn't know who I was they didn't know anything about me, so I went ahead and rented the room for that night when I got to the room the TV didn't work the phone didn't work there was no coffee in the room. While I was on the phone with my wife to figure out what went wrong, they asked me if I wanted an upgrade in a room where the TV worked I said yes. I would never go back
