"A little confusing in that the hotel is named 'Kita Hotel' on Expedia but at the hotel it is named the 'Hotel Du Nord' - Google Maps though has both names.
The public areas look a little dated but the room l had was very comfortable (best sleep l've had in a long time) and spotlessly clean.
Hotel is an easy 20 minute walk from Morioka station so long as you are travelling with minimal luggage. "

"Very nice breakfast with a wide selection of traditional Japanese dishes. The hotel is a bit old, but you can still feel its former glory. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay."

"We only stayed one night in Morioka but would have happily remained a little longer at this hotel. The room and bed were comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant.
The breakfast buffet was by far the highlight, with a wonderful variety of hot and cold options, and plenty of vegetarian dishes for my husband. I wanted to try I've of everything but just couldn't fit it all in!
It was also an easy walk from the JR station (12-15 minutes)."

"Pearl City hotel made my trip very easy. There are delicious restaurants around, including first floor Monogatari place. Throwback to 90s with its retro feel is a plus for me. Many landmarks and museums are all in walking distance. Thanks!"
