"This is an historic hotel and with that comes uneven floors and steep stairways with no lifts so it is not at all easy to carry your suitcase up and down. When you walk into the hotel it smells of fish. Also our room, while comfortable, was in need of a new clean coat of paint. The bathroom was newly refurbished with nice tile and the combination shower/tub was perfect. It would have been helpful to have updated USB outlets so we could charge our electronic devices more efficiently."

"We never ate at the hotel it was less expensive elsewhere. Can’t complain except towels need to be renewed. Also hand soap would be nice. Room noisy in the morning because of traffic. Staff should greet customers coming in and out of hotel it’s part of your job!"

"This is a truly lovely hotel, very clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was fresh and delightful, and the bar was a pleasant addition. The atmosphere was quite relaxed, which was very enjoyable. My only minor suggestion would be regarding the bed, which I personally found to be a bit firm. Aside from that, I would gladly stay again and highly recommend it."
