Everything Was lovely here! the bungalows were clean and stocked with anything we could need. The staff was professional and friendly. We loved the kayaks, parking and breakfast. The pool and hot tub were also lovely additions to our relaxing stay. Would highly recommend.

Cute bed and breakfast. There is a market across the street. You need a rental car to stay here. It is not in a tourist area. The hospitality dog was so sweet. The kayaks were nice to use. Everyone is nice, there is a language barrier if you don’t speak French or Tahitian but that is to be expected.

Kathy was very communicative as was Stephanie! Easy access to nearby tours and local food options. The swimming pool was getting built (should be done now) as the old one was destroyed and it was a little busy. Breakfast was filling.

OMG from the moment we arrived at were in love. What a gorgeous spot and so peaceful. Stunning beach, sunset, clean tidy accomodation. Beautiful breakfast, across the road from a store. Behind security gates. Everything we could possibly want. Would have loved to stay longer.

Best place to stay on Moorea

Very comfortable- much better than a hotel room. I enjoyed the outdoor covered deck, footsteps from the lagoon and kayaking. Breakfast was great. And the adorable geckos.

We had a wonderful stay here! The property is gorgeous and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. We loved how beautiful the space was and enjoyed having breakfast on the deck watching the ocean. The island is gorgeous and it's easy to drive around to everything you want to see, plus great tour options.

Serendipitous single-night stay

Immaculately maintained guest cottages and beach garden in a quiet gated setting. We enjoyed lounging and eating breakfast on our private deck with pretty ocean views. This small resort is supurbly equipped for kayaking and snorkeling.

Gem of Moorea

Unique and utterly serene, Fare Oaoa is the one lodging spot in the islands that I would return to. Our bungalow was 15 soft-sand footsteps from the beach. With a small pool, jacuzzi, kayaks, and inner tubes on offer, it was tempting to stay on property forever. Only gripes: annoying a/c system and birds who feasted messily on leftovers at night.

We stayed one day but me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our time here! It was a convient and beautiful location right on the beach. Very serene and romantic feel to the place. My only complaint is that our room did have a bit of a odd smell but I think that was do to the rugs , personally I feel carpet and beach do not mix but other than that I would recommend this place and stay here again! The owner was very nice and staff was helpful.

This placr was great!! Super private, quiet and fun! The property is very well maintained and cleaned. Amazing private beach to enjoy and see the sunset. I huge plus to have available kayaks to go see the dolphins in the early morning. I highly recommend! The host Katy is extremely nice and sweet and made our visit very special. She has great recommendations if you need suggestions for any activity you want to do.

Wonderful place!

We had a great time here and wished we can stay longer. The bungalow is very well organized and well equipped with kitchen tools, dishes, glasses, and etc. There are kayaks for use for free. Life jackets and other safety gears are very clean and available in the bungalow or in the main property. The staff (Midi) is very kind and very helpful. We even bought a very big Tuna fish from her husband and Midi helped us prepare it. This is one of the best Tuna we ever had. The meat is not like Tuna we had in the Bay Area. We love everything here and highly recommend this place.

An overall excellent place to stay! No complaints whatsoever (and that’s coming from very picky wife!). We received driving directions ahead of time and it was very easy to find the place. We had great welcoming by Stephanie and the property manager and enjoyed two wonderful days. The cabins are beach front with well-organized and furnished beach furnishings. Cabins have very Tahitian feel inside with pitched ceilings and straw cover. The best part is the breakfast which is a treat by itself! Every evening a tray is delivered with fresh fruit, cheese, bread, etc that you can enjoy the next morning! Stephanie always picked up the phone when we called to coordinate our arrival time and truly a wonderful hostess. Definitely recommend this place and would go back and stay there again if my plans take me there.

Will not disappoint!!

Hard to put this into words… but it was phenomenal. The property is amazing and the owner & staff are such lovely people. If you want to avoid the overpriced chain hotel experience & stay somewhere that’s clean, comfortable & gorgeous (but still feels local) this is your place. The grounds are impressive & immaculate with lots of seats and and hammocks. The gracious staff provides an amazing breakfast tray right to your door! Kayaks, floaties and snorkel gear are provided. The property is lovingly supervised by 3 friendly, well behaved resident dogs that I’m genuinely missing already. There’s also a convenient little grocery store across the street and a friendly food truck down the street for pizza & burgers (with seating). Highly recommend- wish we had spent all of our nights here!!

Make clear to guests that beach is not conducive to swimming due to very low depth and coral that scrapes the hands and feet when trying to swim. I was mislead and persevered until I realized that depth was not going to change.
