"My husband and I stayed 5 nights at Hotel Faubourg. We both said the same, the hotel itself is an older building but it was clean, staff were friendly and the price was great. When we arrived they told us we received an upgrade to a suite so right there we were impressed. We knew we would be doing lots of walking during our vacation and I purposely booked this hotel for two reasons, price and proximity to Old Montreal. It was easy to find our way around, we walked on average 12,000-15,000 steps each day and most of that was to and from Old Montreal. We attended a Habs game and even though we used Uber to get to the Bell Centre prior to the game, it was too congested to with people to hire one for our ride home after the game, but because of staying at Hotel Faubourg, we just walked back. Within 25-30mins were back in our hotel room, it was perfect. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in a clean, safe hotel close to downtown and Old Montreal."
