"What a find! You’d never know that a lovely well appointed home away from home boutique hotel is behind the wooden door right inside the Via Romano gate. "Great place. Clean, Friendly, I got to play the piano in the main room, terrific book collection, and a superior variety of food for the breakfast --eggs, croissants, meats, juice, etc. Great views of the countryside and you are about 5 minutes from the closest town. Not much there in the way of restaurants, but if you drive closer to Siena (10 minutes away) you will find some good places to eat. Highly recommend if you are looking for a classic Toscano experience!"

"The facility was very comfortable. Eduardo who runs it was also quite helpful and cordial. My only issue was initially finding the place. Neither the navigation system on the car nor google maps could locate it. It’s not on the main road from the town, and there is no visible sign on the main road. It would be very challenging at night, as it’s in the countryside about 2 miles from town and the road is not lit. "

"We were on the 1st floor of the villa, and although we’d booked a private bathroom this wasn’t part of the room but across the corridor which was shared with 2 other rooms. Not ideal in the middle of the night! Window to view was very small and didn’t have a curtain, but actually the location is lovely (10 min drive to Sienna) and breakfast is adequate. Can imagine the pool would be lovely in summer. "

"A great hotel - friendly, welcoming & very friendly staff. Very helpful & I really felt welcomed! The breakfast staff were wonderful - with special mention to Bedere - who was always happy to go the extra mile. The coffee was great, thank you! I liked that the hotel was just outside the main centre - but a very easy walk to the centre, & away from the noise, parties & drums 😋. I thought the hotel went beyond the norm to make the hotel guests feel welcome. Such friendly and pleasant staff - and along with the location and comfortable & clean rooms - I really enjoyed my stay in lovely Siena👍👍👍👍👍!"
