"It is right next to a wide plateau where kids can run and play. Not far from the town area where you can buy and eat. 10-15 mins to the train station (Mer de Glace) and Gondola place to Aiguille du Midi. Staffs were VERY kind. Enjoyed our stay here. Free parking available. "

"Our stay at Montenvers was great. The hotel appearred lovingly restored to it's original glory. It was a realitively easy and comfortable way to immerse in some of the most beautiful mtns in the world. The food was very good. The views from our room of the glacier and mtns were fantastic."

"This hotel was great. Room was big and spacious. Parking was very easy. Plenty of things to see around the hotel and within walking distance. The only problem about hotel is front desk closes at 4. You need to reach out to hotel ahead of time if you arrive after 4. They give you a code to open the door and leave your room key in an envelope by the front desk. "

"I had stayed at this property before and it was lovely. Well kept, clean, fantastic restaurant with a different specialty menu for every night. This time it was worn down, simple amenities such as towels were missing, restaurant quite poor and service overall although staff trying very hard, not sufficient. "

"A beautiful hotel in a very quiet and secluded area. Very friendly staff that offered us a free upgrade and great advice about what to do and where to hike. The restaurant is also wonderful with probably one of the beat wine lists I've seen. Bravo! You must have a car to get to this place however. If you want to be close to Chamonix (but not IN Chamonix) it's perfect!"
