Staff was very helpful in helping me find transportation. Very well located- close to restaurants in downtown and close to the bus stop that goes to airport which was a huge savings in cab fares.

The room are ok. The beds are comfortable. Over priced for what one gets
The staff was very nice and friendly. the place is beautiful and really well situated. The only problem I had was an old matress, it was caved in the middle. Otherwise, I loved the place.
This is a good home base if you are looking to hang out in Santa Elena for a few days. It's a nice hostel with private rooms. I wouldn't suggest sharing 1 bed, they were very soft. I'd upgrade to the bigger rooms with two beds. The walls are a bit thin, but that's very typical with all the places around there. If you want more, you need to pony up more money. Great location that is central to downtown Santa Elena. Overall, I'd return. Oh, and they have lots of monkeys and coati.
The location is great if you don't have a car. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is simple but adequate. Night security effective! Our major complaint was the state of our bathroom, old and worn with not enough hot water to take a decent shower. I don't mind simple but hot water is a necessity.

Not enough hot water. Heat Insulation and sound insulation are bad. But we like the location and staff.

This property had no restaurant and no bar as the Expedia information stated. This is not ok, Expedia needs to make sure things are as stated!
Great 1 night stay. Better than most hotels and resorts at a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend!

As hostels go it was excellent. My only complaint is that the wifi was terrible and that is really a necessity these days. Also, the bar needed more people working at night. Felt bad making the one girl run around so much.
THE PLACE WAS OK...FRIENDLY STAFF AND CLEAN ROOM ALTHOUGH A LITTLE SPARSE....WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE A TABLE AND CHAIR TO SIT AT WITH THE COMPUTER.....ANOTHER ISSUE WAS THE FACT THERE WAS NO HOT WATER
Smallest hostel rooms I've ever been in! Rooms were clean but they pack you in like sardines. Walls were so thin that we could hear everything through the walls, EVERYTHING!!! The main discouragement was the cold showers. It is far too cold that high up in the mountains to not have even luke warm water. I didn't get a proper shower my whole stay and nearly froze trying!

Nette Doppelzimmer
This was a neat hostel resort, with basic facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. Landscape was beautiful, loved the local monkeys who visited, found our room to be more than sufficient, outdoors there were hammocks and even some workout equipment. Liked that they had a kitchen with facilities that could be used to cook, store food, etc. if you didn't want to eat out. Very happy with the accommodations and would definitely stay here again. Also loved the little town of Santa Elena and being able to walk from the resort to the stores, restaurants, and shuttle services.
