There was a sign in the lobby that said be back shortly. It should have said, be back later today. Ended up waiting in the lobby, with others, for 30 minutes. One couple got angry and left. Besides that, it was just okay. Very dated.

We stayed at this hotel during the car show in Monterey, and we knew all the hotels jacked up their prices, but this place should at least meet basic hotel standards. It really needs a serious fix-up and update. The rooms are old, and the floors are dirty. It looks more like a cheap motel than a hotel, but the location is good.
