This is a fun boutique hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. The rooftop restaurant/bar (with heaters) is great for a wonderful drink and a view of Monterey Bay!

Hidden Gem

Amazing customer service. Perfect location to walk down town. Roof top bar was so cute and drinks did not disappoint. Breakfast the next morning on site was delicious. Definitely glad we found this hidden gem.

Monterey's Hidden Gem

We love Hotel 1110! We have been staying here since it was opened. It is an adult only boutique hotel that has a wonderful rooftop restaurant and bar. Staying at this hotel always includes a delicious breakfast. Nick, his sister Nashua, and his son Tony have always made us feel like family. We used to live in the Bay Area, but we now live in Utah and every trip to California has to include a trip to Monterey and a stay at "our" hotel! Thank you again Nick and Tony for our wonderful stay and visit!

Love this place!

This is our third stay at the hotel and it was fantastic. The hotel is is just the right amount of quirky, and the father/son owners went over and above with their friendly hospitality. The only suggestions would be to provide an end table next to the bed for any water, etc. And, then there was the breakfast! A sit down real breakfast with options all included in the room rate. Delicious! The location is great, right across from the beach and a 10 minute walk to downtown.

Awful service. No fridges. No AC. No space the room was about 10ft by 10ft. The walls were very dirty and scratched paint everywhere. Room looked like people had just been there. Bathroom was also unclean the mirrors weren’t cleaned.

Not as advertised

Room was very hot. They supply small portable fans that just move the hot air around. Windows were directly open to the alley so we weren't comfortable leaving the bedroom one open so kept the bathroom one open at night. Shower head was broken. Definitely did not promote a romantic vibe. Website is misleading-breakfast is only included for higher tiers. Restaurant was closed. Front staff was not pleasant. 5 spots for parking.

First, I'll share my opinion. This is NOT a four star hotel. It is a 2.5 star hotel at best. The representation of the hotel on Expedia is fraudulant. Next, I'll share some facts that are indisputable. 1. The view from our second story room was of an auto parts store on one side and a wall on the other. 2. Our shower flooded the entire bathroom every time we used it. We alerted staff to this and nothing was done. 3. The hotel is on a busy road. 4. The room we booked for had no fridge, and very limited space to put things. 5. There are many hotels in this region in the same price range and no need to settle for this one.
