Staff was super kind, very easy check-in. The room was super cute to be honest. It was dusty behind the head of the bed, but most people don’t look there other than that. It was a beautiful room right where we needed to be close to CSUMB and I was really happy with it.

Beautiful small inn. Centrally located near restaurants, but lovely and quiet. Rooms are exceptionally nice, with wonderful beds and spotless bathrooms. Beutiful flowering plants around the parking lot are a wonderfiul welcome. Staff is pleasant, polite and very helpful. Wish we coul stay longer!

A great spot to stop for the night! For such a good deal this property had everything I could ask for. The bed is large and comfortable, check in was easy, and the room was clean and spacious. Definitely good value for the price.

We stayed for one night in the suite. Upon arrival front desk was super friendly and accommodating. When we gained access to the room, it appeared clean and tidy. But closer look, the walls were filthy, there was painted over mold in the bathroom and towels smelled musty and mildewed. TV couldn’t keep connection, and doors creaked so bad, we woke each other up when going into restroom. Amenities were not good either, soaps seemed old. No breakfast included and staff was not available upon check out to talk to about these issues.

This is an older motel that has undergone a thoughtful and appealing renovation. It is a budget-friendly option in a good location. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. Hopefully the owners will be able to also upgrade the plumbing and fixtures in the near future.

We loved our stay at Discovery In in Seaside. It was our first time staying in Seaside, and honestly our expectations were low. The staff was amazing, Maria kept our room spotless!! From check in, to clean towels daily, a freshly made bed each evening, great location with Safeway for amenities and Costco to fill up our tanks before we headed back home! Just 10 minutes to Monterey/Pacific Grove…we’ll definitely be back!! Thanks to your amazing staff for a great stay!!
