Really quiet area in a valley surrounded by mountains , nice little hot tub, clean linens and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and if you’re planning on just having a place to sleep this is a great place for the price.

Quaint Mid-Century Modern

Great "little" mid-century modern Motel-Hotel in heart of Carmel Valley. Walking distance to Carmel Village. Clean, convenient. Good value.

Love their mid-century styling. The town is very small, so it's really a getaway to a quiet spot, not an exciting destination. Super quiet, with a nice, small swimming pool and ping pong table for entertainment.

The room was very clean with plenty of amenities. The sliding door to the patio and pool area was not locked when we entered and we ended up blocking it using hangars. If arriving late be sure to make arrangements to get your room key from the convenient lockbox next to the office.

This property was terrible and did not match the pictures on the website. The bathroom had very old flooring and the toilet was broken. The bed was close to being broken and the furniture looked like it was acquired at a garage sale. The pool was very small, many tiles were chipped and was not heated. They were not able to check us in on time and we had to wait 2 hours (90 degrees that day) as they didn’t have enough staff. The front desk receptionist had communication issues and couldn’t answer anything beyond “yes” and “no” responses. We were very disappointed so decided to leave a day early. I would NOT recommend staying here. There were other options in the area I wish we would have booked instead. The pictures do not reflect the condition of the actual property.

Dont let the outside fool you! This is a revamped 1970's style motel that sparkles when you enter the room.We wish we could have stayed longer. The pool was not heated, so we were unable to enjoy it. We did use the h I t tub and it was great. Nice large fridge in the room and plenty of coffe fixings provided. The room was HUGE! The bed was very comfy. The bathroom continues to be mid-century modern. Nothing fancy, but very large with an old fashioned heat lamp. We were quite happy with it. The grounds are well taken care of and there were numerous citrus trees and blooming foillage on the property. Each room has its own private balcony with fencing surrounding it. We will go back and stay longer next time. Loved it! COMFY!

Very nice older motel type setting. It's an old property but has been updated and is in great shape. Rooms are big and tastefully decorated. One story w/ small, private patio. Neighbors were loud but they settled down by 10p. Would gladly stay again.
