"The views and quality of this agriturismo is simply outstanding. Peaceful and surreal, the view of San Gimigano are amazing. We had a wonderful time. Breakfast options could have been more varied for vegetarians and the staff member who greeted us on arrival could have been a little more welcoming! All other members of staff were outstanding. Did their best to accommodate us, including cooking special egg free dishes! Gratzie!"

"This was a good experience! We were welcomed by the owners son, who made us feel very welcome and made us 2 fresh cappuccinos on arrival. The view of the landscape from this location was breathtaking. The room was very pretty with exposed brickwork and arches. The amenities in the room were very much appreciated and useful - washing machine, a rack to dry clothing, hairdryer, TV, tea a coffee etc. The olive shower gel and hand wash smelt amazing! "The property is absolutely beautiful. It’s peaceful and tranquil. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast buffet is plentiful with a ton of variety that will suit everyone’s pallet. The staff is very helpful and wonderful and will go above and beyond to make your stay very welcomed and comfortable. They accommodated us even when we were checking out and stored our luggage while we waited to check into our new destination. We were even given little goodie bags. Our room was comfortable and very clean. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. I would highly recommend."

"We enjoyed our stay. The pool, hotel grounds and location were truly amazing. The food was okay but we enjoyed eating off site more. The farmhouse is very quaint and charming. You can hear others in the farmhouse. It was luxurious in many ways and more basic in other ways. But all together a wonderful stay. I would recommend for sure."

"without a doubt, this one of the nicest places that my wife and i have stayed, a hidden gem in the beautiful hills of Tuscany! the location is spotless and offers several pools and quiet areas to relax. the staff was amazing, Laura and Michael tended to everything making the stay remarkable. we had to catch a super early flight and Laura worked tirelessly to find us a private taxi to get to the airport by 5:00 am. the food was beyond explanation; best spaghetti that we have ever had, breakfast was a spread of the best meats and cheeses, etc. and home reminders including eggs and bread items. highly recommend this wonderful location if you are traveling to Tuscany, we will be returning in the future."

"Beautiful 14th century villa in the Tuscan hills with very pretty pool and restaurant areas, and very helpful and friendly staff. The food was hearty and enjoyable, but not the highest standard, even compared to restaurants in the area. It's in a great location for exploring Florence, Chianti region and Siena. The room we used (superior garden view) was good, very interesting features due to the age of the property, with a stunning view. However, it was not very cosy for spending time in and the A/C struggled as well. Overall we were very happy with our choice and had a great stay!"

Hotel Palazzo San Lorenzo & SPA

"I can’t fault the hotel in general, but honestly, it felt a bit soulless. We stayed at the sister hotel Relais Della Rovere earlier in the week and loved it. It felt warm, authentic and welcoming. The bar was by reception and constantly had people in it and all areas of the hotel were charming, whereas the Palazzo San Lorenzo, while impressive looking, lacked character inside despite being an old palace and in an area of architectural beauty/interest. As you are up the top of the old town, although there are some nice restaurants, they all keep strange opening hours/ days and on a Monday there is nowhere in walking distance to get lunch and limited options for dinner on a Sunday. That would have been fine if the hotel had food options, but they only do breakfast (which is very nice ) and then dinner for two hours in the evening. We were expecting Caffe San Lorenzo to do food, but we never saw it open and apparently they don’t do food despite it stating they do on the website. Maybe it’s off season for them, but the website doesn’t give opening times or say what days the restaurant/ caffe Lorenzo are closed. You get two small bottles of water in the fridge in the room daily, but there is nowhere to get any other bottled drinks throughout the day or around the pool unless you drive down to the main town to a supermarket. Whilst a decent hotel, we wanted somewhere to relax and not have to venture far to eat and drink after a busy week previously, this didn’t tick that box for us"

"We really liked our short 3 day stay, a pit-stop between places. We did not get to use all the amenities Park Marinetta had to offer and spend our days mostly at the beach. The buffet breakfast had everything you’d expect to find and then some. We did not have dinner at the buffet. Staff was very helpful and courteous. A very pleasant experience!"
