"This is an old but seem to be well maintained hotel. We booked a waterfront room that had a great view. We were here for one night before our cruise. Our room was clean and the bed adequate. The breakfast was very very good! The staff was very helpful and engaged. There are some excellent restaurants walking distance from the hotel, and a good shopping district. Vibrant night scene also. Beautiful park across the street. The hotel is a short easy walk from the train station which we arrived on to the cruise port. You will need transport to the cruise port from the hotel which was easily obtained from bus transport. No problem. "

"The hotel is ideally located close to the cruise ship port which was a key selling point. It was also central to local eateries and shopping which was also very nice. We could walk everywhere. My only real negative was the elevator, the climate control, no iron or ironing board, and thr challenge with coordinating transportation to the port or the airport in Rome. Its difficult and pricey. If I had it to do over, I think I would have gone with something in Rome, something with more modern features."

"The location was a bit out of the way, but perfect for our needs. Laundromat nearby was very helpful for us, and staff were friendly, breakfast was good, and shuttle from the airport, and to the cruise port was much appreciated. Hotel is old and in need of a bit of upkeep, but rooms were clean and comfortable for the one night. We found a local restaurant for late lunch within walking distance, and all in all, would recommend for short stay in the area."
