"I really loved Castiglione di Sicilia - the town is perched on top of a crest of mountain and looks amazing as you are driving in. This seemed like quite a small town with lots of older folk in their older fiats and renaults, or sitting on street corners for a coffee or drink. "I was there October 20 to the 23. It’s worth the nightly rate. The town of Naxos is just down the street. Interesting for a one day visit. I experienced far better beaches. The staff are very friendly and of assistance. The pictures of the vistas from the hotel are not accurate. You can’t see much from the hotel. On balance if you are visiting Naxos, it’s worth the rate."

"Absolutely perfect place to stay and enjoy the sights of Taormina, Castelmola and Catania. Giuseppe the host is so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The only thing would be parking and whilst it’s street parking only is does get a little tricky with limited spaces around and lots of cars wanting parking. "Clearly a newly decorated place, and felt quite spacious due to a nice room, bathroom, hallway layout. Sparkling clean! Lovely garden towards the river - outdoor areas were also very neat and tidy. Spacious parking. B&B host Irene was super nice and helpful - mostly Italian speaking but written communication in English was fine. The B&B is a little far from village life, and there are few restaurant options within walking distance but we did manage to find a very local and super cozy osteria....

"I cannot say enough about how fantastic our stay was! The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The view was incredible and couldn’t be beat!
