"What an excellent hotel to stay in, very handy for the trains and not too far from the main centre of Taunton. Very helpful and friendly staff with great food"
"Only stayed one night with my wife and two grandchildren. Hotel location is perfect. Stayed in a family room one double bed and two single beds, not a put me up which was unusual so well impressed. Only down side was we ordered the children's food which was good. We then ordered ours which didn't arrive and the cook was wandering around the bar . Asked what was happening and they had forgotten our order by this time the kids needed to go to bed so we didn't eat. Breakfast was okay but had to wait a while as containers for hot breakfast were empty ."
"Easily accessible location with lots of parking. Hotel spacious and checking in was quick and easy. Rooms very comfortable with all the usual facilities.
Restaurant food was very good and plenty of selection for breakfast."
"This Ibis whilst in the middle of an industrial estate is ideally located and convenient for a stop-off stay.
The hotel is clean, modern and breakfast was excellent. We had our evening meal there and again food was fabulous. The staff were especially helpful and friendly, especially Joel, who was fantastic.
Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if needed a stop off stay."
"We loved our stay here and the quirkiness of an historic building was able to add to the charm of our time. The included breakfast was excellent. A wonderful location and a gorgeous village. Our only complaint would be that the bed was old and a bit lumpy which did compromise sleep. In need of an upgrade we think."
"The rooms were really lovely, exceptionally clean and airy, the air con was fab and the beds were really comfy. We had a few issues with delayed check in but were offered complimentary drinks. Would definitely stay again."
