"This property was well worth the 30 hour travel time to marvel in its sophisticated charm and comfort!!! The property it self is majestic!!! Wonderful gardens!!! Elegant swimming pool!!! Very clean surroundings!! Well equipped kitchen. And delicious breakfast. The Housemade yogurt was my favorite!! We were there for a wedding at another location with 30 guests from the United States. We decided to skip a dinner with the group and had Clement, the host, cook for us!! Being a chef myself for 30+ years, what an INCREDIBLE experience!!! ALL fresh from local farms within 3 miles!!! Alfresco dinning by the pool!!! I won't give it 5 stars. I WILL, however give it ALL the stars in the universe!! A M U S T stay!!! Thank you Clement and your beautiful wife for making our experience absolutely wonderful!!!"

"The hotel is located on a side road in a modest size village. Very little traffic passes so it's not likely to attract passing trade but does mean it's very quiet with no vehicle noise in the rooms. The staff speak good English so communication isn't a problem. The room has a balcony with views of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast costs extra but is of high quality. The only issue is the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty but the shower gel provided an alternative."
