"We’ve stayed here a few times. Was disappointed this time to be given an accessible room without being told. We were woken around 7.30 with lots of noise coming from their food deliveries to the restaurant which went on continually for a few hours. The hot water in the shower was also lukewarm. On checkout when asked if everything was okay I advised of the above only to be told she was sorry about that. She’s send maintenance to check the room. Both issues out a dampener on our stay."

"We turned into the drive and as we approached the castle it was a real wow moment. The disappointment was that check In for our room was at the leisure centre desk, I so wanted to walk up the steps of the castle and take in the atmosphere. Saying that the staff were all very very friendly, courteous and loved petting our dog. The food in The Bistro was amazing, we arrived on steak night and it was cooked to perfection. The grounds were very peaceful to walk around, very well maintained. We will definitely come back and book a castle room"

"We asked for a cup of tea to go with the buffet & was told we couldn’t have one, We were told you can have the tea bags but can’t use the kettle that was sitting beside the teabags, we even offered to pay for the tea. very disappointed in the staffs reaction to the situation. We won’t be in a hurry to come back"
