She spent a long time on her phone arranging transportation for us for very early the next morning. The building is old, but the rooms were more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. "Hotel Piran was no frills but the location and the staff were great! It is right on the water and the sunset from this location is fantastic. Parking is a distance but the friendliest, most fun man drives you back and forth. The walls are thin so it can be a little noisy. Breakfast was just ok."

"This hotel is a gem in the heart of Trieste, Italy. We stayed here 2 nights prior to a cruise. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable and quiet with a great shower. The staff in the hotel were helpful and kind (and patient) and the breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee. It was conveniently located so we could wander for a few hours and go back to our room for a short rest (it was very hot). We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and if we are ever here again, we would not hesitate to book this lovely hotel."
