"Amazing place and great location , Joao and his staff were very accommodating and helpful during my stay , would highly recommend and would book again when I’m back in Amarante , the breakfast at the bakery across the hotel was amazing and the staff there were very nice and helpful as well , I was in town in to prepare for a cycling race and they helped with a breakfast box the day of my race. "This hotel has to be one of the most beautiful I’ve ever stayed in. The room was big and luxurious, and the pool was one of the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen. Plus it’s open a generous 24 hours. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant food was delicious. I’m so glad I decided to stay two nights instead of one. Highly recommend! This place is worth every penny!"

"What a gorgeous property. Spa options are amazing. The wine and port tasting was top-notch. With only one night, we really did not get to experience all of it. I would recommend at least two. Coming in September or October during the winemaking season would be fantastic. The staff was extremely polite and knowledgeable and helpful"
