"Nice vila with nice rooms. Located on the countryside exactly as we wanted with a nearby supermarket available. We hiked to Sagres from the vila. Would highly recommend staying at Casa nuuk. "

"Very nice place and lovely hosts. But you need a car to travel from here to other places. Although I found uber very cheap here comparability to London. "

"The place was beautiful and the owners were beyond accommodating. We had so much fun relaxing at the pool and going to the beach in the morning. It’s a little outside of Lagos but definitely worth the stay"

"Lovely, beautifully decorated guest house in heart of village. Rooms absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Fantastic rooftop views which can be enjoyed from the hot tub. There's an honesty bar in the lounge too! Our second visit to this lovely wee oasis in the sun."

"Breakfast had such a great variety and everything was delicious! The set up of the b&b were great and it was a very clean location. Staff was wonderful and extremely nice and accommodating. The only thing is that the room did get quite humid/moist, but if you keep the window opens it helps.
We would absolutely stay there again!"

"Room was great outside was a bit messy but obviously they are getting ready for the start of the new season. Only issue was having to wait till 3 o’clock to get into the room which was a pain because we arrived at the 10.30 and had absolutely nowhere to wait so had to find somewhere in town which wasn’t convenient."

"The best place i ever visited, from the time i was greeted, to the time i left.
Nice big suite, with a large bathroom, free wine, soda and water in the room.
The breakfast was all made from scratch by the owner, fresh baked bread, fresh orange juice, berries, just wonderful, the view is great, beautiful, clean and well kept place."

"Excellent breakfast, with many choices of bacn, sausage and eggs to fresh fruits , also cold meat and some fish, cereals, and much more !!
My room was upgraded to a room facing the sea at no extra cost, the staff were very friendly, the pool was wonderful. Stone through "
"Wonderful breakfast! Super friendly staff! Increibly clean facility. The one bedroom apartment was a very, very pleasnt surprise. Spacious, spotless and the famous Algarve cliff trail out the back door. Absolute heVen! Ricardo and Mario were fantastic!"
"Hotel views were stunning and staff was very friendly. They were doing some construction while we were there hence the one point off but the hotel and grounds were clean and modern. The outdoor pool had a fantastic view but too cold for when we visited in March so our kids played in the indoor pool instead. It would have been nice if the indoor pool had similar views - there was a glass window but facing the grassy interior instead of the ocean. But other than that, we loved our stay."
"This is a property that is spread out. Very confusing to get to the room. Keys didn’t work when we arrived at room. Security let us in - I guess we looked tired and, to get to reception, it was a long hallway and a set of stairs. Then another hallway and two sets of stairs. We then walked the length of a hallways and down a long set of stairs. "
"Staff was very attentive. There was a good bit of construction being done around the hotel that took away a bit from the atmosphere, but the room was quite large. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well.
The location was pretty good except for the construction. It's a bit of a walk from the "main drag" on the other side of the marina, but not horrible.
Note that this is a more modern hotel and does not give the older Portuguese vibe. Still, it was a good stay.
The free parking was right across the street from the hotel entrance. It was never full for us, but we were there a little off season. It could be a concern in the main tourist season.
As far as laundry facilities go, there is a private laundromat about a block away that you can use, at 4 euros each for one wash and one dry. The facility was clean, but about a block away. That was a pain, but a life saver on a 2 week vacation."
"The views from our bedroom were amazing and we were steps from the beach!! The breakfast was great and had a lot of variety. The staff were spectacular, very kind, and super accommodating - they had a kettle we could use for our room!"
"The staff was helpful and check in went smoothly. The room was better than I expected and the parking was easy and spots available. I had the breakfast buffet and the selection was good and I would recommend it. Overall, I had a very good experience at Ancora Park and would stay there again."
