The valet service was equally outstanding, very accommodating and genuinely polite. Our room was spacious with a wonderful retro feel that added another layer of character to our stay. It is a place that makes you smile with its old world touches blended with modern comfort. Being right next to West Virginia University, the area is filled with college students, yet every student we encountered was polite, respectful, and simply going about their day. The energy of the town mixed with the historic elegance of the hotel created a truly memorable experience.
