"Hotel is comfortable, clean & just off I-70. Someone there thinks it’s a good idea to charge $14.00 to park in their parking lot. ( a service which is free at 90+ % of non- big city hotels). There is no free breakfast which is ok as their rates are modest. The parking fee is a money grab and has PISSED OFF many former regular customers. It’s bad policy and 2nd rate hospitality at a hotel that should know better. "

"Overall a lovely, comfortable hotel — complete with little pool, decent restaurant, free basic breakfast, and a wine tasting room in walking distance. But you MUST drive here, because despite what the front desk says, it is NOT walkable to downtown Palisade (1.3 miles in the hot sun with no shade is not a good walk). And it’s shocking to me they don’t run a shuttle to/from downtown for people wanting to shop or dine there (or even rent a bike to ride around wine country). The breakfast is fine:...
