Case Brizza

Case Brizza is a breath of fresh air for someone who prefers to be out in the country in a rural setting. The grounds are highlighted with various types of fruit trees and flowering plants. Many beautiful baroque cities and lovely beaches are a short drive away. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast included homemade items from the garden, and the service from the owners Giuseppina and her son Luca was excellent.

Rust en luxe in agriturismo bij strand en cultuur

Case Brizza is een luxe agriturismo waar je in alle rust geniet van riante kamer, heerlijk ontbijt, tuin en whirlpool. Lucca en zijn moeder zijn warm en gastvrij. De agriturismo ligt heel gunstig tov strand en de barok stadjes Noto en Ragusa.

Das Beste an der Unterkunft ist das Team. Leider ist das Bad schon sehr runter gekommen und es war vorher nicht bekannt, dass nur bar bezahlt werden muss. Wer jedoch einen Ort in kompletter Abgeschiedenheit sucht, wird die Unterkunft mögen.

Mit viel Liebe geführtes Agriturismo.

Der restaurierte Hof liegt sehr ruhig im Hinterland. Die Zufahrt zum Hof ist zwar lang, davon sollte man sich nicht abschrecken lassen. Es lohnt sich! Der Hof wird liebevoll von Giuseppina und Luca geführt. Luca hat uns jeden Morgen zum reichhaltigen Frühstück mit guten Tipps für den Tag versorgt. Er hat uns auch tatkräftig geholfen als unser Wagen streikte, weil die Batterie leer war. Auf Wunsch kann man bei Giuseppina zu Abend essen. Das sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Wir haben vier Nächte im Case Brizza verbracht und können dies nur weiterempfehlen. Beide sind tolle Gastgeber und mit beiden konnten wir uns problemlos auf englisch unterhalten.

Peaceful, spacious, charming and generous hosts!

What a lovely place to unwind for a few days. Giuseppina and Luca are incredible hosts. Their sympathetically converted farmhouse is roomy and private. Food is great and they even helped us out with some administrative details related to our holiday. We would love to go back.

Dejligt landsted

Vi havde et dejligt ophold på Case Brizza. Selvom det ligger på landet, er der kun 5 km ud til hovedvejen. Vejen er tip-top, ingen huller. Man kan kun komme til stedet via SP45. Når man først er kommet ud på hovedvejen, er der kun yderligere 5 km til den nærmeste kystby Pozzallo, hvor der er en god strand, gode butikker og mange gode restauranter. Hotellets ejer og hendes søn er søde, rare og hjælpsomme mennesker. Morgenmaden er fin: æg, frisk morgenbrød, juice, kaffe/te, ost, skinke og yougurt. Man har mulighed for at bestille aftensmad, hvis man siger til aftenen i forvejen. Det koster 30 euro pr. person, men så får man også tre retter mad + dessert og vin. Vi prøvede det, og det smagte dejligt, men man skal have god appetit, for der er meget mad og det er vellavet. Det eneste, vi manglede, var mulighed for at lave kaffe/te selv, så vi måtte ud at købe en lille elkedel. Vi havde fire overnatninger og jeg kan varmt anbefale stedet.

Rustig gelegen

Ruime kamers met goed sanitair. Buitenzitje en ligbedden beschikbaar. Complex doet authentiek aan met gemeenschappelijke huiskamer waar je s avonds aan een goed diner kunt deelnemen. De zoon serveert een prima ontbijt. De gastvrouw en haar zoon zijn heel aardig en behulpzaam met het plannen van de dag. Met de coordinaten van de website van Case Brissa is het goed te vinden en de toegangsweg van vier km is prima geasfalteerd. Er zijn geen restaurants in de directe omgeving. Daarvoor moet je in Modica zijn maar bij Case Brizza is het wel zo lekker en gezellig.

Lovely agritourismo with the perfect hosts

4 nights here in October. Beautiful place with huge, clean, comfortable room and bathroom. Retains the rustic character of the original farm buildings but has been adapted to provide for all your needs. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and very helpful when plannng our days out and Giuseppina prepared outstanding Sicilian meals in the evening and delicious breakfasts on the pretty outside terrace. Only wish we could have stayed longer. And the 20 cats, the dog, horse and donkey all just add to the pleasure

Ein kleines Stück Paradies

Die Case Brizza ist ein kleines Stück Paradies. Die Lage, der gigantische Ausblick, die Ruhe vor Motorgeräuschen und Lärm. Das Agriturismo liegt einerseits in der Mitte im Nirgendwo, aber doch so in der Nähe der Städte Modica und Pozzallo, dass man jederzeit auch in den Trubel eintauchen kann. Auch wunderschöne Strände wie z.B. Sampieri oder San Lorenzo sind ebenso gut zu erreichen wie die der Naturpark Vendicari oder die Barockstädte Noto, Scicli und Ragusa. Die Lage ist auch ausgezeichnet für Ausflüge nach Syrakusa. Die Besitzerin Giuseppina hat die Case Brizza sehr schön und geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail wiederaufgebaut. Die Ausstattung erfüllt höchste Ansprüche. Neben einem ausgezeichneten Frühstück wird auch ein Abendmenü angeboten, was wir sehr empfehlen möchten. Jedes Menü von Giuseppina ist ein Gedicht! Hier kann man Sizilien direkt von seiner kulinarischen Seite erleben - und das auf allerbestem Niveau. Eine gute Flasche Wein ist immer dabei, die man mit anderen, interessanten Gästen beim Abendessen leeren kann. Es ergeben sich dann oft lustige Gespräche. Giuseppina und ihr Sohn Luca sprechen sehr gutes Englisch und geben gerne Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Was uns am meisten in Erinnerung bleiben wird ist unser letzter Abend, an dem wir mit leckerem Couscous verwöhnt wurden, das Guiseppina extra für uns gezaubert hat, weil wir am Vortag mit ihr über die historischen arabischen Einflüsse in Sizilien gesprochen haben. Vielen Dank nochmals dafür!

A delightful,rural spot

Coming from a rural area, it suited us well, it was very quiet and we like being 'off the beaten track'. The rooms are spacious and characterful and breakfast was plentiful. The owner was charming and interesting to talk to. There are some nice walks locally and an excellent fish restaurant nearby. Locating the hotel was a problem, (locals were very helpful), but the hotel's own website gives far better instructions than those we had from the booking agency.We would happily go again.
