"Two different crazies were staying here during my stay. Some woman who was shrieking at the top of her lungs for ten minutes. I later asked the staff and it was some woman lugging a very heavy suitcase. But she was screaming like she was being attacked up and down the hallways. The next morning around 5 am someone was circling the hallways talking like they were drugged out. Eventually she was outside doing it for a few hours and not walking around the hotel hallways. I wasn't sure if that second one was a guest or not. They might have just snuck in. Anyhow. Motel is fine. Guests and or intruders are sketchy. Staff were all fine to interact with. Hot coffee in the lobby. Cute cat in the rear parking lot. Watch the convenience store next door. The prices are all very out of date. "

"They took a cash deposit and didn't return when we left. When we called them they had 2 options. First - come back and take a deposit. Second - somehow provide their gift card on deposit amount. "

"It was a convenient place to stay on the way to Yosemite. We really liked the lady at reception - a real character and helpful. The free coffee in the morning was bonus. The only issue for us was staying on the second level - there was no lift to take all of our luggage up so we had to use the stairs. Thinking back to the location in Oakdale, it was really convenient to get to a great bar and grill."

"I had to wait for the front clerk person to check in. Not a big deal. Their computers have been down for over a day. So instead of using a credit card for a deposit I had to come up with Cash at 11 o’clock at night for a deposit. Then he said I can knock it down from $250 cash to $100 cash. I plan on checking to see what their policy is because it sounded like I was getting hustle. Just about experience I am now checking in to a non-Wyndham non-Ramada Inn in Monterey as a direct result of this bad experience. "
